I was born and raised in Barcelona, a city that deeply inspires me. Like the city itself, I have evolved while staying true to who I am, learning and adapting to change. My professional and personal journey draws on this connection with languages and cultures, which have always fascinated me.
I studied Hispanic and Catalan Philology at the University of Barcelona (UB), complementing my studies with teaching qualifications, including the Teaching Aptitude Certificate (CAP) and several specialist courses in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE). My passion for languages led me to work in private universities, schools and international companies, where I gained experience teaching students of all ages and nationalities.
In 2001, I decided to take my career further and founded Idiomasvivos SCP, a partnership of self-employed teachers specialising in personalised Spanish and Catalan teaching. This project enabled me to develop my own method based on communication, linguistic and cultural immersion, and dynamic learning.
Alongside my love of languages, I am passionate about travel, literature, sociology and psychology. These subjects have helped me better understand the richness and complexity of human beings, something I apply in my lessons every day. For me, teaching is not just about passing on knowledge; it means supporting my students throughout their learning journey, adapting to their unique needs and circumstances.
Learning a language is much more than memorising grammar rules. It is a privilege, an exciting journey that combines practice with immersion in culture and everyday life. In my sessions, I use a wide variety of resources: books, articles, films, podcasts, my own materials and, above all, direct interaction in the language.
Every lesson is a unique experience, designed especially for you, whatever your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2). We will work together so that you can learn naturally, with lessons adapted to your learning style and goals.
