Certainly, but there are limitations. What happens if we take the best from books, the internet, television, digital platforms, podcasts, radio and everyday life, then add our own perspective? For example, you might learn vocabulary by watching a series in your target language, reinforce it with online exercises and practise it in dialogues about everyday topics with your teacher.
